Bathing in Light
Bathroom & material study
THE IDEA
A quieter kind of luxury.
This fictional bathroom concept uses light, texture, and a view of the desert to make an everyday room feel restorative. The design centers on a simple freestanding tub beside a deeply recessed window.
The material palette
Travertine, pale plaster, natural oak, and aged copper. Warm surfaces balance the crisp geometry of the room.
The design idea
A tall window frames the planting outside. Concealed storage and simple fittings keep attention on the room’s proportions and natural light.
